Der Greif Guest-Room Online Exhibition
John Fleetwood was the curator for the June edition of the Der Greif Guest-Room online exhibition. Guest curators select images to de/ recontextualize single images from open call submissions.
Each Guest-Room kicks off with a collaboration where the curator teams up with another practioner to choose a theme. In this edition, John Fleetwood worked with Eric Gyamfi, Ghana and selected the following quote as framework for the exhibition.
“Perhaps I was looking for something that refuses to be photographed. I was only chasing shadows, perhaps”(from the monograph ‘Chasing Shadows’ by Santu Mofokeng).
