Vacancy: Project Coordinator Fundraising/Media : CLOSED

Photo: and the Photography Education Trust are seeking a Project Coordinator with Fundraising and/or Media experience.
The Project Coordinator will join our small dedicated team in Johannesburg on a short-term contract (9 months, with the possibility to extend).

Key Job Responsibilities:
With the team; plan, implement, coordinate and conceptualize all projects of Photo: and the Photography Education Trust

Specific Skills - Fundraising
·       Research, identify and contact prospective funders and donors
·       Develop and maintain a fundraising strategy and programme, including proposals and reports

and/or

Specific Skills - Media
·       Develop and maintain a media and publicity strategy and programme, including websites, social media and project specific media

The chosen candidate should ideally have qualifications and/or experience in visual arts, or a similar humanities field. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, self-starter that has the ability to manage time across multiple projects. Proficient in requisite software and good writing skills.

The contract, including hours and salary, will depend on experience, skill set and availability.
